About me

I am a wife, a mom of three (2 boys and 1 girl) and a grandmother to a beautiful little girl.

My faith has been the reason for finding such beauty in what can be a very dark world.

I have learned through my Catholic Faith to see with “lenses of faith” which lend  meaning and value to everything in life, even suffering.

My oldest son “found” the saint “Don Bosco” during a fifth grade saint report and shared his love of his new friend “Don Bosco” (as Saint John Bosco was affectionately knows to the wayward youth who were changed by his friendship.)

He taught them to know and love Jesus; to persevere and to see life as joyful, hopeful and meaningful.  I named this blog after this saint in dedication of spreading that beautiful spirit of hope and dignity for all people through writing little signs of faith and beauty that I and those around me have witnessed and shared.

My experience in sharing my faith includes:

  • advanced certified catechist of the Catholic faith
  • youth minister for junior and senior high for a large parish
  • teaching junior high religious education for several years
  • leading women’s group studies
  • leading women’s retreats and workshops
  • leading VBS programs
  • BA in psychology, and work experience as a Vocational Counselor before finding my love of speaking and teaching the Catholic Faith.

In 2019, I began to draw and paint after a trip to England and Ireland. In 2020 I became a commissioned illustrator and painter to my surprise! (God never stops being generous.  He recently lead me to a new mission where I have been hired to be a prayer partner in a Catholic Integrative Health Clinic.  I work with souls in intercessory prayer and tools that draw them closer to Christ.

I am a work in progress and loving the journey, especially the moments spent in front of the Holy Eucharist, Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar.  Jesus Christ; body, blood, soul and divinity (John 6:60-66.)

We are living in the Holy Spirit each moment of life and having “lenses of faith” to see his marvelous deeds is what it is all about.
